The Summit 3208GLD is the next generation of Electronics Line control
panels and communicators. Our control panel reaches new heights by
bringing with it a combination of technologically advanced features
that ensure the highest standard of security with ultimate flexibility
to adapt to a multitude of applications. The Summit 3208GLD provides
the end user with a reliable and convenient control panel that surpasses
expectations.

Telephone Dialer
The Summit 3208GLD allows for up to four different telephone numbers
to be programmed into the system. Up to 16 digits can be programmed
for each telephone number. An additional number can be used in conjunction
with the remote programming call back feature. The Summit 3208GLD
supports either pulse or DTMF dialing. Its built-in communicator for central
station communication supports Contact ID, SIA and most major protocols.
These implement either event or zone oriented event code messages, which
allows the built-in communicator to interface with a wider selection of central
stations. All events can be programmed to transmit an event code message
to the central station.
Follow Me Feature with User acknowledge
The follow me feature lets users program a telephone number at which
the system can notify them should an alarm occur. The user acknowledges
that the message has been received by pressing a key on their telephone.
Message Routing
Message routing can be programmed for single or multiple central station
notification, enabling notification of up to four central stations.
Latch Key Feature
The latch key feature is used when you want to verify the departure or arrival
of individuals from the area protected by your Summit 3208GLD security
system. For example, this feature is ideal for parents who want to know
whether their child has arrived home safely.
Listen-in Feature
Certain models of the Summit 3208GLD control panel have a built-in listen-
in feature for alarm verification. Should an alarm be activated, the control
panel will contact the central station, transmit an alarm message and then
enter the Listen-in option for a defined period of time.
Zone Descriptors
A standard, definable library of 60 zone descriptors is available for the LCD
keypad display. Additionally, four zone descriptors can be programmed
by the installer for customization of individual installations.
